A Japanese yokai, a kappa, appears in a Joseon palace?!

During the restoration of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Gyeongbokgung Palace, an unidentified Japanese porcelain plate is discovered. Carbon dating reveals it to be a staggering 2,000 years old. How did it end up buried in the Joseon palace? The story dates back to the Imjin War(Japanese Invasion of Korea). A Japanese yokai, a kappa, weary of life after living too long, takes advantage of the war to cross over to Joseon. Captivated by the beauty of the Joseon palace, he encounters the burned-out Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and begins a strange journey with the human king. One day, an unidentified corpse is discovered. Could it be the late Joseon king, King Jungjong? Or a device left by the Japanese to confuse the situation? The king and the yokai, aided by ghosts, spirits, and the power of the two-faced demon, attempt to uncover the truth.
